The discography of T.I., an American rapper, songwriter, producer, actor and co-CEO of Grand Hustle Records,[1] consists of six studio albums, 25 singles and 19 music videos on Grand Hustle Records and Atlantic Records. He was discovered and signed when he was a teenager by record executive Kawan "KP" Prather.[2] Upon signing with Arista Records subsidiary LaFace Records in 2001, he shortened his name to T.I. out of respect for label mate Q-Tip.[3] His first album, I'm Serious, was released on October 9, 2001.[4] The album peaked at number 98 on the U.S. Billboard 200 and sold 163,000 copies in the United States.[5] Due to poor sales, T.I. asked for a joint venture deal with Arista or released from his contract; he was subsequently dropped from the label.[6][7]
