Egyptian pound closes high vs. US dollar on Wednesday

The Egyptian pound (EGP) rose against the US dollar (USD) on Wednesday, April 23, 2025, according to data from the Central Bank of Egypt (CBE).

The CBE reported an average buying rate of EGP 50.8986 per dollar and a selling rate of EGP 50.9986, compared to Tuesday’s rates of EGP 50.9837 and EGP 51.0837, respectively.
