It: Welcome to Derry – October 26, 2025
The 2017 adaptation of Stephen King’s It and its 2019 sequel were monster hits, but director Andy Muschietti thought there was more to tell about the town of Derry, so he and his wife, producer Barbara Muschietti, began developing a TV series based on the novel with Jason Fuchs. The end result is It: Welcome to Derry, a prequel series that takes place before the two films and explores the origins of the towns deadly curse. The new series is set to premiere on HBO on October 26, 2025.
Emily in Paris: Season 5 – December 18, 2025
After a stint in Rome last season, Emily in Paris is all set to become Emily in Venice for season 5, which is officially dropping in its entirety on December 18, 2025 on Netflix. The rom-com-drama stars Lily Collins as a young marketing strategist who moves initially to Paris for a new job and attempts to balance her personal and professional lives. Netflix released a number of first-look images for the new season along with the premiere date announcement.
Fallout: Season 2 – December 17, 2025
Are you ready for New Vegas? At this year’s annual Gamescom trade fair in Germany, Prime Video officially announced the premiere date for season 2 of Fallout, their critically acclaimed adaptation of the popular video game series. The show, which follows a handful of characters trying to survive in a desolate, post-apocalyptic United States, heads to its season 2 setting of New Vegas on December 17, making it one of the holiday season’s most anticipated premieres.
The Diplomat: Season 3 – October 18, 2025
Get ready for more political intrigue, as Netflix has set a date for the highly anticipated third season of their drama The Diplomat. Keri Russell returns as Kate Wyler, the US ambassador to the UK, who now finds her life turned upside down as she accompanies Grace Penn (Allison Janney) back to the White House after the events of season 2. The series released a date announcement teaser revealing it will return on October 18.
