  1. What is SEED?
    SEED is the System for Exchange of Excise Data online verification. It provides a service to verify an Excise Number with a standard web browser. The SEED application is addressed to Economic Operators. Because it is available on a public site, the information and services offered here are intentionally limited.

  2. Why do I get no results?
    The reason for no results can not be displayed. No results can have following reasons:
    • The Excise Number does not exist, e.g. the used country is wrong or the whole number does not exist;
    • The Excise Number exists but has no current authorisation, because the authorisation is expired or the authorisation is scheduled for the future.
