In 2024, the Zagreb University Faculty of Teacher Education was given a European award in recognition of their work integrating eTwinning into initial teacher training. The faculty started its eTwinning adventure in 2018 by joining the eTwinning for future teachers initiative.

The ‘Fostering citizenship education through eTwinning for future teachers’ conference highlighted how eTwinning promotes citizenship education and European values among future teachers. Participants had opportunities to network, discuss and strengthen their commitment to fostering inclusive, value-driven education through eTwinning.

New Erasmus+ Jean Monnet call for projects

A new Erasmus+ Jean Monnet call for 2025 has just been launched and includes actions specifically for schools and teachers to teach about the European Union. Interested schools are encouraged to apply for funding to teach about the EU in their classrooms

Help us improve the educational offer about the EU!

The European Parliament wants to hear from you. They are looking to enhance their educational offer for learning about the EU, active citizenship, and parliamentary democracy. By taking part in this survey, you can help shape a better educational experience for everyone. You will also support educators who promote active citizenship among students aged 11 and above.

Contribute to an improved educational offer by participating in the survey by 5 January

Call for eTwinning featured groups moderators

In 2025 we'll be launching some new featured groups on the platform. These communities of practice cover key topics and aim to inspire collaboration, innovation, and professional exchange within the eTwinning community. We’re looking for enthusiastic eTwinners interested in moderating these groups and contributing to their success.

If you’re eager to take on this role, complete the application form by 6 January at noon
