PCG will start DSpace Polish User Group
In May, PCG Academia will organize the meeting of all the DSpace users from Poland in Zakopane. There are more than 40 implementations of DSpace in universities and research units in Poland. The goal of the conference is to integrate the DSpace community in Poland, start the dialogue about the needs of Polish scientific institutions related to the DSpace development and to exchange the experience of the repository managers. During that meeting the official Polish DSpace user group will be established and the leaders of the group will be chosen.
A special guest speech is also planned during the event – Michele Mennielli, Manager of Global Outreach, Lyrasis, will speak about the benefits of joining the international development of DSpace.
