3️⃣ tips to drive more impact from your Board Meetings 👇 We have received a lot of great feedback on our way of doing board meetings So good that multiple elements have been added as best practice at some prestigious universities and implemented in a couple of Denmarks biggest companies 🏢 It is not rocket science, but here a few tips based on our learnings: 1️⃣ Video Material as preparation 🎥 Before the board meeting starts everyone should know what to discuss (Agenda) & have the needed context to discuss it. We use videos to ensure that, where with just 1 hour of video content we can add a lot of relevant context to bring everyone up to speed 🚀 This should not take more than a couple of hours to prep & I would recommend to almost only use your day-to-day work material as the things you record from. Loom is a good software tool to do the videos This brings me to my second advice 😃 2️⃣ Do not spend time on reporting - aim to create value 📊 When talking to founders I often get surprised on how many spend the majority of their board meetings doing reporting. That SHOULD be done beforehand (ideally monthly) and all potential questions to this should be addressed in writing before the meeting. It is okay to spend the first 30 minutes on clarifying questions to material etc. - but do NOT let it overflow and capture the meeting 👻 Instead we often design workshops with clear Desired Outcomes and work with the Board like it was an internal strategy session daring to be 100% transparant & vulnerable and utilise their experience on the topics to get as much value as possible. We never vote or make definitive decisions (with the exception being fundraising and similar matters) - instead we regard it as input and make the business decisions in the Leadership Team, who has the needed day-to-day context to make great decisions 3️⃣ Board don’t really make the differences, but can for sure be supportive At the end of the day the impact in a business is created daily and I have never heard anything that felt that their board meetings, where truly transformative. Ensure you have the best possible people to get feedback on strategy & aim for the maximum output, but… Also remember to have fun 🏎️ This builds a stronger relationship making it easier and better to use the board members between the meetings, which is where the actual value is created 💸 (Picture is from our go cart session at the last board meeting - sadly the 3 ligthest people made the podium 😉) These were a few tips based on my experiences, but I am but no mean an expert, so would love to hear you: How do you maximise the value of your investors & board members inside & outside the board room? 🤔

As a sales enablement pro, I’m always thinking about how to make selling easier. But lately, I’ve had a different thought: it’s not just selling that’s tough—buying has become more challenging, too. If we can empathize with our customers and simplify their buying journey, we’re not just closing deals—we’re building lasting partnerships. Don’t just focus on selling your product; focus on solving problems. Understand how your customer buys so you can help keep the process smooth. Here’s an unsolicited tip: if you’re only talking to one person from a prospective customer, you’re missing the bigger picture. You’re overlooking the needs and pain points of other stakeholders (a whole lot based on SBI research)—and that’s going to slow down your sales cycle. Off to new shores! - It is with a heavy heart that I decided to leave my current position and to start a new journey where I can build and re-build teams, processes, entire sales and customer care departments. I am currently validating my opportunities, but always open for any possibility that is crossing my way these days. Feel free to approach me! The last seven years were about so much, but never boring. With my devotion and strategic mindset, I was able to build sales channels from scratch, increasing & maintaining sales performance and building all the needed structures around it. The start of our B2B BPO in sales was one of my many success stories and this one has so much more potential to grow. Building and maintaining an outsourced telesales team with an increase of >300% in performance over the last few years was a new and satisfying experience. As both, a strategic developer and an experienced sales manager, I have encountered and hired many talents along my way and I am very proud to see how they have developed themselves. It has always been a true passion to lead, coach and mentor my employees and apprentices and to learn from them as much as I could myself. But not only have we become experienced in outsourcing business: With a strong customer focus for a 360-degree consulting and development, I was able to build the first "in-house"-telesales teams in B2B, that have now become a center of deep and profound know-how all around ICT. With the merge of Sunrise and UPC this team has even become stronger and I am very proud of the successful integration to an efficient and performant team. So leading Account Managers for medium sized customers as well as telesales teams for our entire SME business have become a valuable part of my DNA. Having a broad understanding of the possibilities together with our B2C Retail and Shop areas, our B2B business has grown ever since and I consider myself very lucky to have led these topics for many years and contribute to the basis of the sales performance that we experience today. But becoming bigger and bigger as an organization needs intelligence in the way of working and in the daily steering of traffic and inflow. With the implementation of our quality and sales support team we are now making sure that our sales teams focus on sales and that we never trade quantity for quality. My team leaders for these topics make sure of that and the many possibilities to even improve and extend these services are just ahead. Identifying and generating sales opportunities are surely some of the most important things when it comes to sales. With patience, different attempts and the right approach, I was able to build up a scalable lead generation team that is now led by one of my many talented leaders to maintain and even professionalize it, together with our highly motivated employees. *change management* 4 weeks it has been since I have returned back to work from maternity leave. And so much has changed at Sana Commerce during the 12 months I was gone. ⏳ BUT what has stayed the same is that I really enjoy the work that I am doing (with a different focus now, but still in the partner business). 🧑‍🤝‍🧑 Yes, there are a few hiccups when it comes to processes and such but for me this is normal when working in a position that was newly created, so naturally one needs to find structure in the chaos first. That is what I am good at. 🌱 And what also hasn't changed is that we have people that care about what they do and that are good at their job and like making an impact and seeing things improve when implementing their own ideas. 🦸‍♀️ This is a work environment that makes me thrive and especially now working 100% remote it means that everyone who is in a call with me needs to put up with my level of energy. That probably is exhausting at ties but remember: positive energy attracts positive results ✨

If you're selling (basically any) physical product, you might've heard of DPP - Digital Product Passport. I joined in on Dansk Mode & Textil and Erhvervsstyrelsen's talk, and here are the main takeaways: 𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗶𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗗𝗶𝗴𝗶𝘁𝗮𝗹 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗱𝘂𝗰𝘁 𝗣𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁? A DPP is a digital record that provides essential data about a product, from manufacturing to end-of-life. It includes information like: - Product lifespan - Recyclability ♻️ - Environmental impact 🌱 - Energy efficiency ⚡ - Material composition This allows consumers to better understand what kind of product they're buying, and what sort of impact it has on the environment. 𝗪𝗵𝗲𝗻 𝘀𝗵𝗼𝘂𝗹𝗱 𝘄𝗲 𝗶𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗗𝗣𝗣? It's still quite early days. The final standard proposition for DPP will be sent in December 2025 - however, the EU funded an analysis to identify the barriers. Here are some of them: - Fragmented IT systems - 49% of the companies point to fragmented IT systems being a barrier - Silos - Companies are creating data silos which are not built for cross-company communication 𝗦𝗼, 𝘄𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘀𝗵𝗼𝘂𝗹𝗱 𝗜 𝗱𝗼 𝗻𝗼𝘄 𝘁𝗼 𝗽𝗿𝗲𝗽𝗮𝗿𝗲? The advice was crystal clear: 1. If someone is pitching you a complete DPP platform, be very skeptical. The requirements don't exist yet, so no one knows what they will be. 2. Start preparing your product data and product data systems. Ensure that they are accurate and gathered in one platform, as this will make things much easier in the future. Speaking from first-hand knowledge: A lot of (highly profitable and large) companies struggle with their product data and product content so don't be embarrassed about it. With more and more requirements coming from regulations and trade partners, now is probably the best time to take a look under the product hood.

🚀 Top 5 Lessons Learned from working in the Ecommerce scene in Sweden for a year I am no Ecommerce expert but having experienced this industry for the past year, these are my observations that can make or break an Ecommerce business. 1) Every company wants to make data driven decisions but no one wants to invest in data solutions ◆Simple fact is that adopting a new solution can be risky but so is not adopting any solution. Data infrastructure needs to be built and prioritized, it is not magic  2) Profit is most of the time more important than revenue ◆Vanity metrics like ROAS paints only part of the picture. What keeps a business alive is the net income not the top line revenue. 3) Focus on your winners not your losers ◆Pareto principle: 80% of your sales comes from 20% of your products, in fact practically it is closer to 90-10. Most sales also happen during a certain period of the year. 4) Data is often in silos and every platform has their own definition and calculation ◆Ad platforms adopt a one size fit all approach, businesses are complex and have their own logic, why follow when you can create your own custom metrics. 5) Navigating different markets can be complex ◆Consumer behavior, regulatory differences on shipping & returns, presence of competitors, each market tells a different story even with the same data.
