We are the first business area in Denmark to test a new mobility solution called HUB+ 🚗🚴🔌     Using shared electric bikes and cars in DTU Science Park is popular. Workers at DTU Science Park and residents in the neighborhood can book these vehicles from a new mobility hub centrally located in the science park in Hørsholm. These trips are used for daily errands during the workday and commuting 🛸 At DTU Science Park, we are participating in this HUB+ project to enhance transportation and carpooling opportunities in DTU Science Park. The project is EU-financed, and in DTU Science Park, we collaborate with Rudersdal Kommune and Region Hovedstaden. Have you ever seen a drone with 4 meters wingspan? ✈️ Verónica and her team at Aerial Tools ApS in DTU Science Park have developed a drone that can fly 400 km in a straight line. The drone can monitor large areas such as solar cell parks, agriculture, and infrastructure to optimize conditions and reduce maintenance costs. Arial Tools participated in our accelerator, Danish Tech Challenge, in 2021 and today has its headquarters at DTU Science Park, among other like-minded. We love to create the space for startups like Aerial Tools to scale their business 🚀 #deeptech #innovation #startups

🌱 Celebrating the graduate startups from GreenUP Accelerator! 🎉 Last night, we celebrated eight ambitious startups who completed their 20-month GreenUP Accelerator journey! 🥂✨   At DTU Science Park, we proudly support startups tackling CO₂ reduction with expert guidance, strategic mentorship, and a strong network. Over the past 20 months, these teams have put in the work, refined their solutions, and prepared to scale their impact.    🥂 Last night's celebration was a moment to reflect, connect, and look ahead to the future. These startups are just getting started, and we can't wait to see them continue on their path. A huge thank you to our mentors, partners, and everyone who contributed to this journey. 🤝 When research and startup life go hand in hand 🤝   Phlit, a startup based in DTU Science Park, has found the perfect balance between research and entrepreneurship. The company's three founders split their time between the research labs at DTU - Technical University of Denmark and building their business, combining the best of both worlds.   Phlit's IoT solution, FlexGate, helps companies contribute to the green transition. This technology directly connects assets like electric boilers, batteries, and wastewater systems to the electricity market, enabling real-time grid balancing and more intelligent energy management ⚡   Even though Phlit completed DTU Science Park's accelerator program some time ago, they've chosen to stay in the deep tech community 🤖   As Peter Larsen, CEO at Phlit says: "The reason is simple: The connection to DTU. On top of that, being surrounded by so many technical companies at different stages makes it easy to share experiences and ideas. 🏆MedTech Growth won! We are grateful for our collaboration with Nordic Health Lab, whom excels in bridging the gap between companies, hospital environments, and municipalities. 🩺An effective testing process and successful implementation of innovations from MedTech startups is made possible through Nordic Health Lab's strong network within the life science community! As Christian Bygballe Haahr and Bolette Jacobsen, who run the MedTech Growth startup program in DTU Science Park, explain: "Nordic Health Lab connects companies to the healthcare system, enabling real testing and implementation. Nordic Health Lab creates a "fast track" from testing to to implementation. A process that otherwise can be very difficult indeed." 🤝Last week the The Nordic Health Lab Impact Awards gathered the Danish life science network, including universities, hospitals, startups, and organizations, to celebrate shared achievements. 🎉We are incredibly proud to share that the startup program MedTech Growth was awarded Life Science Partner of the Year! Det startede som et pilotprojekt søsat af DTU Science Park og Industriens Fond. Men efter flere år med stærke resultater, er DeepTech Alliance nu klar til at stå på egne ben. Give a big high-five to the amazing Danish Tech Challenge startups powering through their busiest phase! 🚀   Danish Tech Challenge is halfway through – and the 15 startups are working at full speed! 🏎️💨   DTU Science Park is running Danish Tech Challenge for the 11th time, and this year’s program is now halfway through. For the participating startups, this means an intense focus on reaching the goals set by the discipline owners.   The 15 startups are working hard to build a solid foundation and qualify for the finals. The winner will take home Jyske Bank’s Entrepreneur Award and 500,000 DKK. DTU Science Park has a vibrant community where so much is happening! Here are some highlights ✨👀 In the past six months, we: ✅ Launched MedTech investor network meetings. So far, 250+ participants have been presented with promising MedTech innovations. ✅ Hosted our annual Sports Festival with 750 participants. ✅ Opened a Mobility Hub with the Region Hovedstaden and Rudersdal Kommune. ✅ Held our annual Funding Bazaar for 300+ innovative startups and investors/foundations, where the concept is that the investors pitch to the startups. ✅ Welcomed six new supporting corporate partners. ✅ Welcomed 15 inspiring startups into our hardware program, Danish Tech Challenge. ✅ Concluded an agreement with ALK, who will expand their R&D facilities with 7,450 m2 and move into our upcoming lab building in 2027. ✅ Certified 27 new mentors for DeepTech Mentoring.
