In the prestigious Integrated Customer Solution category, Geek+ claimed the IFOY AWARD 2025 with the automation of the new Dr. Max Italia warehouse in Telgate near Bergamo, Italy – in what the jury called an exceptionally close competition. 🎬 What made the difference? According to the jury, it was the overall package of customer value, availability, and scalability – all achieved with minimal staffing. In phase one of the project, Geekplus Europe implemented an efficient system on 1,300 square meters for handling 11,000 products in the e-commerce and pharmacy sectors. The cloud-based SaaS tool was developed for large logistics centers with 100+ employees. It digitizes manual workforce planning and adapts staffing in real time to match fluctuating volumes and seasonal peaks – an important capability, especially in times of skilled labor shortages. 📊 The software identifies under- or overstaffing and suggests personnel shifts based on forecasts, qualifications, and workload. First up: Filics, winner of the IFOY Start-up of the Year 2025. 🎬 The Munich-based company impressed the jury with its 𝗙𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗰𝘀 𝗨𝗻𝗶𝘁 – a CE-certified dual-ski system consisting of two autonomous robots that can move in sync to enter and lift Euro pallets or mesh boxes from below. The system supports payloads of up to one ton and automates processes that were previously uneconomical, especially in tight production areas or block and line warehouses.
