Es werde Licht! ✨ Vom 19.11. bis 5.12.2024 erstrahlt der #SiemensCampusErlangen in außergewöhnlichem Ambiente. Beim #Lichterfest2024 gibt es beeindruckende Fassadenbeleuchtungen zu bestaunen, einen Zauberwald, aber auch viel Technik zum Anfassen und Erleben. Rennsimulator Racing Sim, die XR-Anwendung „Sound of Science“, AI-Painting und vieles mehr, erwarten euch auf unserem Lichterfest. Wer Gutes tun will, kann sich an vielfältigen karitativen Angeboten beteiligen. Our #SiemensPride bar event at Sub yesterday was a success! 🥂 We are so thrilled that so many of you came to join us in Munich! A special thank you goes to our bar team, who put in so much energy and enthusiasm to make the evening fantastic! 🌈 Celebrating #ComingOutDay with Siemens Pride 🌈 At Siemens, we've been championing diversity and inclusion through initiatives like Collegial Mentoring since 2018. This program, part of the Siemens Pride network in Germany, supports colleagues who’ve faced discrimination or hesitated to come out, reflecting our commitment to fostering a more inclusive workplace. In the early days, many employees who were out worried about facing disadvantages or lack of support. But thanks to a significant cultural shift, we’ve made great progress, and our Collegial Mentoring is now a trusted resource. Over the years, we've addressed a range of important topics—gender identity, safe travel for queer employees in countries where being LGBTQ+ is risky, and navigating personal coming out journeys. Today, on #ComingOutDay, we’re excited to relaunch this initiative with new energy after refreshing our mentoring training. Together, we are driving visibility, acceptance, and diversity at Siemens. 🌈 My second year on Prague Pride 🩷 It was also the second year I participated with my colleagues from Siemens, leaving my introverted bubble and meeting loads of new colleagues. I've always loved and embraced the fact that we are all so different and saw diversity as something to be cherished - the world would be so boring if we were all same. So, seeing so many of our colleagues from Siemens Pride network and beyond to join us just literally brought a huge croissant-like smile to my face. It is great to be working in a company that embraces these same values of diversity, equity and inclusion and allows me to help drive these topics further. These days, I personally feel the strong divide between people, so it is as important as ever to celebrate who we are and our individual differences that make the world such a wonderful place. 🌈🎉 Celebrating Diversity! 🎉🌈 We proudly participated in the 25th #CSD in #Nuremberg as the second largest sponsor together with Siemens Pride, showcasing our vibrant truck under the motto #IncludeEmpowerImpact 🚛✨. With 12,000 participants, the event was a joyful and colorful celebration, demonstrating for diversity and democratic values. This was followed by a grand finale at the Kornmarkt with our own booth. 💘💙 💚 💛 💜 🧡 Bright, brighter....Pride Berlin 2024 🧡 💜 💛 💚 💙 💘 Last Saturday it was that time ⏳ again...time for #PrideBerlin 🌈 and #SiemensPRIDE. The organizing team 🎬 around Tanja Hanisch did a fantastic job and gave many Siemens employees and their friends / relatives the opportunity to not only be part of #PrideBerlin but to be right in the middle 🎯 of it. We started with our speakers 📢 Julia Tondorf and Arthur Schmid, who made important statements 🌈 . It is important to mention that even if many perceive #PrideBerlin as a party, it still is a demonstration 🚧 and an important one. In my eyes, it is the most dazzling ✨ and peaceful demonstration that Berlin has to offer. This year under the motto: "Together we take a stand – Democracy needs diversity!".
