Die Bundesnetzagentur hat heute den Netzentwicklungsplan bestätigt. Erstmals gibt es eine Bestätigung für mehr Maßnahmen als wir ÜNB im 2. Entwurf vorgesehen hatten. Der NEP enthält Szenarien für das Stromnetz in den Jahren 2037 und 2045, die wir mit unseren Partnern 50Hertz Transmission GmbH, TenneT TSO GmbH und TransnetBW GmbH erarbeitet haben. Das sieht der NEP 2037/2045 konkret vor: ⚡ Fünf neue Gleichstromverbindungen: Für zwei davon sind jeweils 2 GW mehr Leistung geplant. ⚡ 21 Offshore-Netzanbindungssysteme wurden neu bestätigt. ⚡ Zahlreiche neue Wechselstrom-Leitungen sowie Um- und Neubauten von Umspannanlagen sind notwendig. ⚡ Hinzu kommen neue Betriebsmittel, um den sicheren Netzbetrieb zu gewährleisten. Wieso sich das Netz weiterentwickeln muss: ➡ Netzausbau reduziert Engpässe und damit Redispatch-Eingriffe. Das spart Kosten. ➡ Mit mehr Umspannanlagen kann das Übertragungsnetz mehr dezentral erzeugten Strom aus dem Verteilnetz aufnehmen. Das bedeutet mehr Flexibilität, wenn mit der Elektrifizierung von Wärme und Verkehr der Strombedarf steigt.
