NetBird is an open-source VPN platform built on top of WireGuard® making it easy to create secure private networks for your organization or home. It requires zero configuration effort leaving behind the hassle of opening ports, complex firewall rules, VPN gateways, and so forth. From intense coding sessions and product discussions to buggy rides through the desert and paintball matches – our team event in Gran Canaria was truly an experience 🌍☀️ We spent time working on a major new feature for the NetBird platform, but also made sure to step away from our screens, have fun and enjoy good conversations. Being in a different setting, solving problems together and just hanging out as a team made the trip even more valuable. Looking forward to sharing what we’ve built! 🚀 If you’re passionate about network security and open source like we are, join us in shaping the future of secure networking! 💼 Explore our open roles here: careers.netbird.io

📢 We're sharing some brand new stuff in this webinar and we're very excited about it. 🤩 🤩 Sign Up link below 👇 Sign up: https://lnkd.in/gba9ctqB Accessing Kubernetes securely shouldn’t be complicated. Managing VPN gateways, firewall rules, and security groups is time-consuming. Exposing API endpoints or using jump hosts creates security risks. In this session, we'll show you how to securely access Kubernetes without port forwarding, setting up VPN gateways, or dealing with complex firewall configurations. We'll cover: - Use cases and challenges of securing Kubernetes access. - Simplifying access to Kubernetes services from non-Kubernetes resources. - Achieving Zero Trust access to your control plane and services.

Traditional VPNs can be burdensome, requiring extensive configuration for firewalls, gateways, certificates, NATs and site-to-site connections... Looking for an alternative? NetBird’s SDN eliminates these complexities by directly and securely connecting your resources, without single points of failure: - Reliable and secure access to remote resources. - Minimal setup for quick and hassle-free remote connectivity. - Reduced maintenance time. All in one reliable package. Give it a try at app.netbird.io.

You typically meet the most interesting people through other very interesting people that you already know. This network effect is incredibly strong - and compounding over time. Hosting our network-security portfolio company NetBird together with the Golang Berlin Meetup in our office last week, was clearly one of these occasions where this network effect came to life quite visibly. 50+ people - almost all of them engineers by training - gathered to discuss the ins and outs of using Go, shipping and monetizing open-source software or cracking hard to solve technical issues in peer-to-peer networks (or designing a bad-ass logo for your company😉 - see the Netbird T-shirts for reference). Thank you for pulling back the curtain on what you are building at Netbird, Mikhail Bragin & Maycon Santos! I am very grateful for the new connections made - looking forward to following many amazing journeys! If you could not make it to this event - looking forward to seeing you the next time around! Hit us up if you are building something new and exciting! 🛼🛼

What a fantastic evening yesterday at the Golang Berlin Meetup! We had insightful talks from Mikhail Bragin using Go with eBPF and XDP to solve DNS challenges in peer-to-peer networks and Goutham Veeramachaneni on Prometheus governance 2.0. Big thanks to Antler for hosting and everyone who joined both in person and online. The discussions around eBPF, DNS and Prometheus highlighted just how vibrant and innovative the Go community continues to be. If you missed it, stay tuned for the next meetup, plenty more knowledge-sharing and networking to come! #golang #ebpf #dns #networking #p2p #vpn

🔍 Just published a deep dive comparing WireGuard alternatives for modern network security. While WireGuard is great for its speed and simplicity, teams often need more. Here's why we built NetBird as a complete solution: - Zero-trust architecture on top of WireGuard's core - Group-based access control for scalable permissions - Network segmentation to minimize the attack surface - 100% open source for transparency and self-hosting Check out the full comparison: https://buff.ly/4hO66zr #NetworkSecurity #DevOps #OpenSource #ZeroTrust
