Monitoring for innovative wood-natural fibre hybrid construction? Sure thing! Our colleague Gabriel Kerekes from the Institute of Engineering Geodesy (#IIGS) carry out monitoring measurements for the hybrid flax pavilion in Wangen i.A. Classically by total station measurements and modernly by terrestrial laser scanning. The pavilion is the first to showcase a wood-natural fibre hybrid construction as an alternative to conventional construction methods, which is being researched by the Cluster of Excellence IntCDC | University of Stuttgart. Last week the #UniStuttgart Institute of #EngineeringGeodesy was at the #PhD seminar of German Geodetic Commisson at TU Graz. We head a lot of interesting presentation and had fruitfal discussion. Thanks to Werner Lienhart and his team for the nice organisation.

#TgW Day of Science at University of Stuttgart. What a great event you definitely should not miss ☝ ! This Saturday #IIGS team together with colleagues from Institut für Navigation, Geodetic Institute and Institute of Photogrammetry welcomed again all visitors 🎉 .
