📢 FRANKFURT AM MAIN, 25/02/25 – The EBI - European Banking Institute is pleased to announce that the Faculty of Economics & Business Zagreb has joined the EBI as an Academic Member. As Croatia’s largest and oldest university, the University of Zagreb brings extensive expertise in financial law and banking regulation, further enhancing EBI’s mission of fostering high-quality cross-border research on European banking and financial supervision. With this new addition, EBI strengthens its presence in Southeastern Europe, expanding its academic footprint and reinforcing its role as the leading European research joint venture in banking law, regulation, and supervision. The academic membership of the EBI which consists of top-tier universities across Europe, further contributing to EBI’s interdisciplinary and cross-jurisdictional research efforts. “The inclusion of the University of Zagreb broadens our academic network and reinforces the EBI’s position as the leading joint venture for research in banking and banking regulation in Europe,” said Dr. Thomas Gstaedtner, President of the Supervisory Board of the EBI. “This partnership will foster new academic insights and enhance collaboration across different legal and economic traditions, contributing to a more comprehensive understanding of banking regulation.” 💠 Prof. Anita Pavković, Professor of Finance at the University of Zagreb, expressed enthusiasm about this new collaboration, highlighting the opportunity for Zagreb’s faculty and researchers to actively engage with EBI’s esteemed academic community.
