These days mark the second anniversary of the terrible earthquake in Turkey and Syria. Among the victims were 17 employees of Enerjisa, the Turkish energy company in which E.ON is involved. We would like to take this opportunity to remember the victims and our thoughts are with their families. E.ON was actively involved in the construction of a new elementary school in south-eastern Turkey, which opened last year. The Group collected 1.1 million euros in donations for this project.

Wir halten zusammen! Unsere Kolleginnen und Kollegen unterstützen beim Wiederaufbau der Stromnetze in Irland. Der Sturm Éowyn hat verheerende Schäden in Irland verursacht. Zeitweise hatten mehr als 700.000 Haushalte keinen Strom. Für uns war schnell klar: Hier müssen und wollen wir helfen! Bereits letzte Woche haben sich die ersten Teams auf den Weg nach Irland gemacht und sorgen dafür, dass der Strom wieder fließt. Die Sicherheit der Helferinnen und Helfer steht auch bei diesem schwierigen Einsatz an erster Stelle. Vor und auch während jedem Einsatz wird die Gefahrenlage analysiert und konkrete Maßnahmen zur Sicherstellung der Arbeitssicherheit vereinbart, damit alle Kolleginnen und Kollegen gesund und sicher wieder nach Hause kommen. Ganz herzlichen Dank an die Teams von E.ON, Westnetz, Avacon Gruppe und HanseWerk-Gruppe für euren freiwilligen Einsatz in Irland! Die Highlights des Tages: Noch bessere Vernetzungen untereinander, das Kennenlernen neuer Kanäle und Herangehensweisen. Wir begrüßen unser neues Fördermitglied – die E.ON SE! Marketa Alesova, Vice President Global Talent and Diversity, hat die Fördermitgliedschaft diese Woche unterzeichnet. Herzlich willkommen!   Im 16-köpfigen Aufsichtsrat der E.ON sitzen aktuell 6 Frauen. Das entspricht einem Frauenanteil von 37,5 Prozent und damit Rang 82 von 179 untersuchten Unternehmen im Women-on-Board-Index von FidAR.   Den Frauenanteil im Vorstand hat E.ON in diesem Sommer verdoppelt. Mit Victoria Ossadnik und Nadia Jakobi leiten 2 Frauen neben 3 Männern die Geschicke des Unternehmens. Das entspricht einem Frauenanteil von 40 Prozent.   Auf der ersten und zweiten Führungsebene unterhalb des Vorstands der E.ON SE will der Energiekonzern ebenfalls mehr Frauen in Führungspositionen bringen. Sein Ziel: 36 Prozent Frauenanteil.   Um dieses Ziel zu erreichen, setzt E.ON auf:   🔸 Förderung von Führung in Teilzeit und Co-Leadership 🔸 Mentoring Programme 🔸 unternehmensinterne Diversity-Netzwerke wie z. B. Women@eon, das das Ziel verfolgt, die Sichtbarkeit und den Einfluss von Frauen bei E.ON zu erhöhen 🔸 Beteiligung an externen Initiativen   Mit der Fördermitgliedschaft bei FidAR setzt E.ON nun ein weiteres Zeichen für ihr Engagement für die Gleichstellung im Unternehmen. Wir werden auch in Zukunft genau hinschauen, wie sich die Gleichstellung im Konzern entwickelt.   Es ist so wichtig, dass große Unternehmen wie E.ON mit gutem Beispiel vorangehen und nicht nur Gleichstellung predigen, sondern auch einen Kulturwandel im Unternehmen anstoßen, um die gleichberechtigte Teilhabe von Frauen und Männern zu erreichen.
