Berlin drives robotics: for craftmanship and manufacturing industries 🦾 Yesterday, more than 200 participants from various industries gathered at our joint event with Handwerkskammer Berlin. We are proud to say that the second edition of our interactive exhibition "Cobots und Exoskelette live im Einsatz" was a great success. 🚀   After a warm welcome from Carola Zarth, President of the Berlin Chamber of Crafts and Dr. Kai Uwe Bindseil, Head of Division Healthcare I Industry I Infrastructure at Berlin Partner, we kicked off with a keynote from Prof. Ivo Boblan of the BHT, focusing on the use of exoskeletons. 💡Did you know that around one in four sick days are due to musculoskeletal diagnoses? 🚑 Exoskeletons are the answer! They can support our strength and prevent us from making unhealthy movements.   Aftwerwards we continued with the active part of the event. More than 15 exhibitors showcased exciting usecases with exoskeletons but also cobots, autonomous guided vehicles, virtuel reality etc. From pick and place applications, to drilling, to polishing and more.   🎆We are already exhited about next year. What a trip – the AMBER Tech Journey 2025! 🗽 From New York City to Boston: Last week, our corporate delegation explored the U.S. market, established valuable connections with potential partners and investors, and gathered fresh innovation impulses for the future of additive manufacturing. A special highlight was AMBER’s renewed partnership with New York’s Additive Manufacturing Strategies, one of the leading gatherings for C-level executives, investors, and industry experts in additive manufacturing. As an official partner, #AMBER was present with its own booth and on stage: David Hampel, Head of Unit Manufacturing Industries, participated in the panel discussion "Rebuilding the Industrial Base: Government and National Clusters", highlighting Berlin’s prominent position within Germany and Europe. The Boston visit featured an exciting mix of corporate and university visits, including exclusive insights into current projects at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology as well as visits to Autodesk, Boston Micro Fabrication - BMF and Markforged. These are among the world’s most dynamic innovation hubs and home to numerous groundbreaking AM technologies. The AMBER Tech Journey 2025 has impressively demonstrated, right at the beginning of the year, how crucial international knowledge exchange and global collaboration are for the future of additive manufacturing, an industry that is clearly undergoing transformation.
