- الإرهاب في مصر في يوليو/تموز 2013 خلال الاحتجاجات التي أعقبت خلع الرئيس محمد مرسي بعد سنة من توليه مقاليد الحكم عقب مظاهرات طالبت برحيله، وأعلن عن إجراءات صاحبت ذلك عُرِفت بخارطة الطريق، عارضها مؤيدو محمد مرسي وقتها واعتبروها انقلابًا عسكريًّا، بينما أيدها معارضوه وقتها واعتبروها ثورة وتأييدًا لمطالب شعبية. وبالتوازي مع صعود الجماعات المسلحة على الساحة وتصاعد التمرد في سيناء بقيادة جماعة أنصار بيت المقدس وقيام تنظيمات مسلحة بهجمات عنيفة ضد الشرطة والجيش في وسط وغرب مصر. في السنوات الماضية، قامت جماعات إسلامية مسلحة، مثل حركة أجناد مصر وحركة المقاومة الشعبية وحركة حسم وحركة لواء الثورة. منذ عام 2013؛ تصاعد العنف في مصر كما تصاعد «تمرد» الجماعات الإسلامية وأنصارها ضد الحكومة المصرية. - In July 2013, at the same time as mass protests began against the 3 July coup d'état which deposed Mohamed Morsi, and in parallel with the escalation of the already ongoing jihadist insurgency in the Sinai Peninsula, pro-Muslim Brotherhood militants started violent attacks against policemen and soldiers in Central and Western Egypt. In the following months, new Islamist armed groups were created to reinstate Islamist rule in Egypt, like Soldiers of Egypt and the Popular Resistance Movement. Since 2013, violence in mainland Egypt has escalated and developed into a low-level Islamist insurgency against the Egyptian government. (en)
