- Teodossi von Tarnowo, auch Teodosij Tarnowski, (bulgarisch Теодосий Търновски; † 27. November 1363 in Konstantinopel) war ein bulgarischer Geistlicher und Gelehrter. Er war Lehrer des Euthymios von Tarnowo. In der Zeit um 1350 gründete er das für die bulgarische Literatur bedeutende bei Tarnow. Seit 2017 ist er Namensgeber für den St.-Theodosius-Nunatak auf der Alexander-I.-Insel in der Antarktis. (de)

Un discípulo de Gregorio del Sinaí, Teodosio fundó el monasterio y la escuela de Kilifarevo cerca de la entonces capital búlgara Tarnovo y tuvo un papel importante en la condena de las diferentes herejías durante el reinado del zar de Bulgaria, Iván Alejandro. Teodosio murió en 1363 en el monasterio de San Mamant en Constantinopla. Teodosio se dirigía a la capital bizantina en una visita a su compañero, el patriarca Calixto I, que consecuentemente escribió un largo pasional sobre Teodosio. - The Holy Venerable Theodosius of Tarnovo (Bulgarian: Теодосий Търновски, Teodosiy Tarnovski) (died 1363) was a high-ranking 14th-century Bulgarian cleric and hermit. He is credited with establishing hesychasm in the Second Bulgarian Empire. A disciple of Gregory of Sinai, Theodosius founded the Kilifarevo monastery and school near the then-Bulgarian capital Tarnovo and took an important part in the condemning of various heresies during the reign of Tsar Ivan Alexander of Bulgaria. Theodosius died in 1363 at the Monastery of St Mamant in Constantinople. He went to the Byzantine capital on a visit to his fellow, Patriarch Callistus I, who consequently wrote a long passional about Theodosius. Among Theodosius' disciples was Patriarch Evtimiy, the last head of the medieval Bulgarian Orthodox Church, as well as a writer and hesychast. (en)
