- El Museu de la Mediterrània és un museu de Torroella de Montgrí centrat en la Mediterrània. Està situat a la casa pairal catalogada del segle XV-XVI anomenada Can Quintana. El museu està dedicat al territori proper al municipi i el conjunt del Mediterrani, i fomenta el coneixement dels pobles del Mediterrani. Es tracta d’un museu interactiu i dinàmic, que no solament conté una exposició permanent, sinó també espais dedicats a l’art pictòric i contemporani. Acull també exposicions temporals relacionades amb la temàtica del museu. És també Centre d'Interpretació del Parc Natural del Montgrí, les Illes Medes i el Baix Ter. Allotja el Centre de Documentació del Montgrí, les Illes Medes i el Baix Ter i la Càtedra d'Ecosistemes Litorals Mediterranis, amb les quals col·labora. Forma part de la Xarxa Territorial de Museus de les Comarques de Girona, la Xarxa de Museus de la Costa Brava, la Xarxa de Museus Marítims de la Costa Catalana i la Xarxa de Museus d'Etnologia de Catalunya. També forma part de l'Observatori del Patrimoni Etnològic i Immaterial. (ca)
- El Museo del Mediterráneo se encuentra en el edificio de , antigua casa solariega y edificio catalogado del siglo XV - principios del XVI), en el municipio de Torroella de Montgrí (Gerona). Fue inaugurado como tal en el año 2003 y está dedicado al conocimiento y difusión del Mediterráneo. Se trata de un museo interactivo y dinámico, que no sólo ofrece una exposición permanente, también espacios dedicados al arte pictórico y contemporáneo. También acoge exposiciones temporales relacionadas con la temática del museo. Es el Centro de Interpretación del Parque Natural del Montgrí, les Islas Medas y el Bajo Ter, y hospeda el Centro de Documentación del Montgrí, las islas Medas y el Bajo Ter y la Cátedra de Ecosistemas Litorales Mediterráneos, con quienes colabora. It is housed in Can Quintana, a 16th-century building. It is dedicated to the knowledge and communication of the Mediterranean Sea and uses the natural sounds, human sounds and music to show the reality of the land, the history and the culture of the village of Torroella, connected with the others Mediterranean cultures and towns. It pretends to become a site to think about the nearest territory and the main issues that affect the different Mediterranean nations. It is also an Interpretation Centre of the Natural Park of Montgrí, Medes Islands and Lower Ter. Besides, it hosts the Documentation Centre of Montgrí, Medes Islands and Lower Ter and the Academic Chair of Littoral Mediterranean Ecosystems. (en)
