- تأسست شركة (Türkiye Petrolleri Anonim Ortaklığı) (مؤسسة البترول التركية) في عام 1954 بموجب القانون رقم 6327 مع مسؤولية المشاركة في أنشطة التنقيب عن الهيدروكربون والحفر والإنتاج والتكرير والتسويق كشركة وطنية لتركيا. كونها جهة فاعلة مهمة للاقتصاد الوطني، وحققت العديد من «أوليات» صناعة النفط التركية. الشركة، التي يعود تاريخها إلى أكثر من نصف قرن، أدت إلى تأسيس 17 شركة كبرى، بما في ذلك بتكيم وتوبراش وبواس إلى تركيا. حتى عام 1983، كشركة نفطية متكاملة، كانت تعمل في جميع مجالات نشاط صناعة النفط من التنقيب إلى الإنتاج والتكرير والتسويق والنقل. اليوم هي شركة نفط وطنية تعمل فقط في قطاع التنقيب والحفر واستكمال الآبار والإنتاج. Das Unternehmen wurde 1954 auf Basis des Gesetzes Nr. 6327 geschaffen, um das nationale Interesse in den Bereichen der Erkundung, Bohrung, Herstellung von Erdöl und dessen Folgeprodukten wie beispielsweise Benzin zu vertreten. Being an important actor of the national economy, TPAO achieved many “firsts” of the Turkish oil industry. The company, its history reaching back over a half century, has given rise to seventeen major companies, including Petkim, Tüpraş and POAŞ to Turkey. Until 1983, as an integrated oil company, it was engaged in all the activity fields of oil industry from exploration to production, refinery, marketing and transportation. Today, TPAO is a national oil company involved in merely upstream (exploration, drilling, well completion and production) sector. (en)
