- Agios Frangiskos tis Asizis (griechisch Άγιος Φραγκίσκος της Ασίζης; deutsch Franz-von-Assisi-Kathedrale) ist die Kathedrale des römisch-katholischen Erzbistums Rhodos in der Stadt Rhodos auf der gleichnamigen griechischen Insel. Am 20. September 1936 wurde in Anwesenheit von Erzbischof OFM und des Gouverneurs der damals italienischen Ägäis-Inseln der Grundstein gelegt. Der Entwurf stammte von dem Architekten . Die 1939 fertiggestellte Kirche wurde 1940 mit einer Orgel der Firma und mit 14 Kreuzweg-Reliefs aus Terrakotta des Bildhauers ausgestattet. Die Kirche ist die offizielle Pfarrkirche der Franz-von-Assisi-Pfarrgemeinde. Die Fassade der Kirche ist in drei Bögen unterteilt, die den drei Eingangstüren entsprechen. Die Anlage besteht aus drei Schiffen mit flachem Dach, das Querschiff endet in zwei Kapellen und der Chor ist halbelliptisch ausgeformt. Die niedrigeren und schmaleren Seitenschiffe, die durch Kapellen abgeschlossen und jeweils durch sechs längliche Bogenfenster gekennzeichnet sind, sind vom Mittelschiff durch Säulen getrennt. Die Fresken an den Wänden des Chores wurden von gemalt. An der Decke über dem Zentralaltar erhebt sich ein Kreuz, um das die Symbole der vier Evangelisten symmetrisch angeordnet sind. Von Gaudenzi sind auch die Gemälde auf den Seitenaltären, die die Verkündigung und den heiligen Mauritius darstellen. - La Catedral de San Francisco de Asís o simplemente Catedral de Rodas (en griego: καθεδρικός ναός του Αγίου Φραγκίσκου της Ασίζης) Es un templo católico que se encuentra en Rodas, Grecia, cerca a la puerta de San Atanasio, entre los dos distritos de Acandia y San Juan. La iglesia es la catedral de la arquidiócesis de Rodas. El 20 de septiembre de 1936 se colocó su primera piedra en presencia del arzobispo Giovanni Maria Emilio Castellani y el gobernador italiano Mario Lago. Las obras para la construcción de la iglesia, diseñada por el arquitecto Armando Bernabiti, terminaron en 1939. En 1940 la iglesia fue dotada con un órgano y enriquecida con 14 terracotas bajorrelieves que representan las Estaciones de la Cruz, obra del escultor Monteleone. Los frescos de las paredes del coro fueron pintados por Pietro Gaudenzi. En el techo, encima del altar central, se levanta una cruz, en torno al cual se disponen simétricamente símbolos de los cuatro evangelistas. Φραγκίσκου της Ασίζης) also called Catholic Cathedral of Rhodes, is a Roman Catholic church located in the city of Rhodes, Greece, near the gate of St. Athanasius, between the two districts Acandia and St. John. The church is the cathedral of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Rhodes. On September 20, 1936 the first stone was laid in the presence of Archbishop Giovanni Castellani and the Italian governor of the Dodecanese, Mario Lago. The works for the construction of the church, designed by architect Armando Bernabiti, ended in 1939. In 1940 the church was equipped with an organ and enriched with 14 terracotta bas-reliefs depicting the Stations of the Cross, the sculptor Monteleone. The frescoes on the walls of the choir were painted by Pietro Gaudenzi. On the ceiling above the central altar, a cross rises, around which symbols of the four evangelists are arranged symmetrically. - Katedra św. Franciszka z Asyżu w Rodos – rzymskokatolicka katedra archidiecezji rodoskiej znajdująca się w Rodos, na wyspie Rodos w Grecji. Mieści się przy ulicy Dimokratias (Republiki). Katedra została zaprojektowana przez włoskiego architekta i ma bardzo dobrą akustykę. Jest zbudowana z białego marmuru. Ściany chóru przedstawiają trzy najważniejsze wydarzenia z życia św. Franciszka z Asyżu. Miejscowy rzemieślnik stworzył żelazny posąg św. Franciszka z Asyżu z prawej strony kościoła, gdzie do dziś stoi.
