- The Party of the Democratic Center (Spanish: Partido de Centro Democrático) was a political party in Mexico. In the presidential elections of 2 July 2000, its candidate Manuel Camacho Solís won 0.6% of the popular vote. In the senatorial elections of the same date, the party won 1.4% but no seats in the Senate. Since it did not secure parliamentary representation in 2003 it is not currently a nationally recognized party.

- El Partido de Centro Democrático (PCD) fue un partido político mexicano que existió de 1999 a 2000, fue fundado por el expriista Manuel Camacho Solís, solo participó en las elecciones de 2000 en las cuales perdió el registro. Como lo dice su nombre, el PCD fue un partido que se definía como de centro, fue fundado alrededor de la figura de Camacho Solís quien fue su único dirigente y candidato presidencial, nunca logró tener presencia política verdadera y ocupó el último lugar en las preferencias electorales en las Elecciones de 2000 por lo cual perdió el registro, en las elecciones para Jefe de Gobierno del Distrito Federal su candidato Marcelo Ebrard ya había declinado en favor del perredista Andrés Manuel López Obrador. Conservó su registro en Tlaxcala unos años más, donde con el nombre de Partido de Centro Democrático de Tlaxcala (PCDT) participó en alianza con el Partido Acción Nacional triunfando el candidato de esta alianza Héctor Ortiz Ortiz. Hoy ya no existe siquiera en Tlaxcala. (es)

De partij werd in 1997 opgericht door Manuel Camacho Solís, voormalig lid van de Institutioneel Revolutionaire Partij (PRI) en voormalig burgemeester van Mexico-Stad, en Marcelo Ebrard. De PCD omschreef zichzelf als liberaal, en was voorstander van het opstellen van een nieuwe grondwet. Camacho was presidentskandidaat voor de PCD in 2000, waar hij 0,8% van de stemmen kreeg. De partij kreeg geen congressionele vertegenwoordiging bij die verkiezingen en verloor daarmee de erkenning als politieke partij. De meeste leden sloten zich vervolgens aan bij de Partij van de Democratische Revolutie (PRD). In Tlaxcala heeft de partij haar erkenning weten te behouden, en bestaat ze verder als de Partij van het Democratische Centrum van Tlaxcala (PCDT). (nl)
