- Die Odalar-Moschee (türkisch Odalar Camii, auch Kemankeş Mustafa Paşa Camii) war eine ehemalige byzantinische Kirche und osmanische Moschee in Istanbul. Nach der osmanischen Eroberung Konstantinopels im Jahr 1453 wurde die Kirche 1475 zur römisch-katholischen Kirche Sankt Maria von Konstantinopel und 1640 zur Moschee. Das Gotteshaus wurde 1919 bei einem Brand zerstört und verfällt seither. Geblieben sind nur einige Außenwände inmitten moderner Wohnbebauung. Ihren Namen „Baracken-Moschee“ (gelegentlich auch „Kammer-Moschee“) erhielt sie von den nahen Unterkünften der verheirateten Janitscharen, die im 18. Jahrhundert im Viertel errichtet wurden. (de)

In 1475, after the Fall of Constantinople (1453), it became a Roman Catholic church, dedicated to Saint Mary of Constantinople, until finally it was converted into a mosque by the Ottomans in 1640. The mosque was destroyed by fire in 1919, and since then has fallen into ruin. As of 2011, only some walls remain, hidden among modern buildings. (en)
