Koyamaea is a monotypic genus of flowering plants belonging to the family Cyperaceae. The only species is Koyamaea neblinensis W.W.Thomas & G.Davidse. Its native range is southern Venezuela and northern Brazil. It grows in habitats that are steep, rocky hillside with scattered shrubs and tree that are no more then 2-3m tall and the surrounding vegetation mainly consisting of bromeliads. It grows at altitudes of 500–700 metres (1,600–2,300 ft) above sea level.
