- Hans von Speyer was a 15th-century German scribe. He was probably born near Speyer, Germany in the mid-15th century. In c. 1491, he produced the MS M.I.29, a fencing manual compiling several significant treatises from the tradition of Johannes Liechtenauer. In c. 1455, a Hans von Speyer assisted in the creation of the typeface for Johannes Gutenberg's 42-Line Bible, but this may or may not be the same scribe. (en)

En 1491 il réalise le MS M.I.29, un manuel d'escrime compilant différents traités de la tradition de Johannes Liechtenauer. En 1455 un Hans von Speyer assiste Johannes Gutenberg dans la création de la police de caractère pour la « Bible à 42 lignes », mais l'on ne sait pas s'il s'agit du même écrivain. (fr)
- ハンス・フォン・シュパイエル（ドイツ語: Hans von Speyer）は、ドイツの剣術師範。1491年に、高地ドイツ語方言で書かれた剣術写本M. I 29（附属図書館に所蔵）を作成させた。この他には、貴族階級であろうこと、および1500年から1510年の間にチューリッヒに滞在したハンス・フライターク・フォン・シュパイエルと同一人物であろうということ以外の殆どの情報が後世に残されていない。 M. I 29には、ドイツ剣術の開祖とされる伝説的な剣術師範ヨハン・リーヒテナウエルや、聖職者であり片手剣術の考案者でもあったハンス・レックヒナー、その他の師範の剣術に加え、ユダヤ人オットーらの格闘術も所収されている。 (ja)
