- Guild Wars Nightfall is a fantasy action role-playing game and the third stand-alone campaign in the Guild Wars series developed by ArenaNet, a subsidiary of NCSOFT corporation. Nightfall was released worldwide on October 27, 2006 after, having been in development alongside Guild Wars Factions since November 2005. Nightfall takes place in the continent of Elona in the Guild Wars universe. It follows the player's character as they join the Order of the Sunspears and uncover the desire of Warmarshal Varesh to return a long forgotten god to the world through an event called Nightfall. The players, assisted by their hero allies, fight through civil war, ignorant Vabbi princes and Varesh's demon allies as they attempt to prevent the coming of Nightfall. (en)

Es un capítulo independiente con la posibilidad de unir su contenido al de las anteriores entregas o jugarlo por separado. Esta expansión presenta una nueva campaña PVE situada en el continente de Elona, un gran desierto similar al del norte de África. Incluye dos nuevas clases, el Paragón y el Derviche, y mejoras PvE, tales como la posibilidad de unir a tú grupo hasta tres héroes. Además incluye un nuevo modo PvP que son las arenas por equipos donde dos jugadores junto con tres héroes adicionales se enfrentaran por la victoria. Estos héroes son personajes no controlables que pueden acompañar a tú personaje, al igual que en las entregas anteriores, con la diferencia de que puedes elegir las habilidades que llevarán, así como su equipamiento.También se incluye un sistema de "banderas" o señales que permiten tener un mayor control sobre el movimiento de los esbirros y héroes. - Guild Wars Nightfall ou GWN est le troisième produit de la série Guild Wars, une série de jeux de rôle en ligne compétitifs (CORPG) développée par ArenaNet et éditée par NCsoft. Ce jeu est sorti en France et dans le monde le 27 octobre 2006. C'est un stand-alone à part entière qui peut être joué seul ou en combinaison d'autres produits Guild Wars. Il est plus communément appelé Nightfall voire simplement abrégé en NF.Une bande-annonce de ce nouveau chapitre ainsi que des esquisses et dessins conceptuels préliminaires ont tout d'abord été présentés aux journalistes lors de l'E3 2006. ArenaNet a ensuite officiellement annoncé le titre de Nightfall et présenté les deux nouvelles professions de personnages le 18 juillet 2006. Un premier test public le 28 juillet 2006 a permis aux joueurs de tester ces deux nouvelles profession en mode PvP tandis qu’un second test, le 22 septembre 2006, a permis de jouer en mode PvE et de découvrir le didacticiel ainsi qu'une partie du scénario de cette campagne. - Guild Wars Nightfall – gra komputerowa będąca trzecią kampanią z serii Guild Wars. Rzecz dzieje się w Elonie. Zalążkiem Zmierzchu (wyznawcy Abaddona nazywali tak nadchodzący okres panowania tegoż boga, więzionego w Krainach Udręki) są poczynania Kormir (dowódczyni Słonecznych Włóczni, po której to stronie gracz będzie walczył) oraz Varesh (dowódczyni wojsk Kourny). W grze wprowadzono parę nowości oraz dodano dwie nowe profesje:
* Derwisz (ang. Dervish) - Święty wojownik mogący ranić trzech przeciwników jednym machnięciem swojej broni - kosy. Jego charakterystyczną cechą jest możliwość używania umiejętności zwanych awatarami, które znacznie zwiększają jego moc.
* Patron (ang. Paragon) - Obrońca ludu Elony. Walczy włócznią. Jest on klasą typowo dowódczą, zwiększającą moc sojuszników oraz czerpiącą korzyści z ich towarzystwa. (pl)
