- Giovine Orchestra Genovese (also known as GOG) is an Italian music organization, concert society and cultural association, founded in 1912 in Genoa by Giovanni Semeria. A nonprofit organization, it organizes and produces classical and chamber music concerts and promotes musical education for students. The current President is Nicola Costa while Pietro Borgonovo leads the artistic direction. Nowadays, Giovine Orchestra Genovese concert seasons are some of the most attended in Italy, with almost 1.000 subscribers and an average attendance of 40.000 customers per year. (en)
- La Giovine Orchestra Genovese (nota anche come GOG) è una società concertistica fondata nel 1912 a Genova dal barnabita Padre Giovanni Semeria che ha sede nella Galleria Mazzini. Si occupa di organizzare, produrre e promuovere spettacoli musicali, in particolare concerti di musica classica e musica da camera. Dal 2004 ha ottenuto la qualifica di ONLUS. L'attuale presidente è Nicola Costa mentre la direzione artistica è affidata a Pietro Borgonovo. La GOG è annoverata fra le prime realtà concertistiche italiane, con circa mille abbonati e una media di cinquantamila presenze annue mantenuta nelle ultime stagioni. (it)
