- Als Tänzerin wird eine hellenistische Mädchenstatue aus Pergamon bezeichnet, die sich heute in der Antikensammlung Berlin befindet. Die sogenannte Tänzerin wurde im März 1886 bei den deutschen Ausgrabungen in Pergamon in einem der beiden Gelageräume des Palastes V gefunden. Die Angaben zu den Fundumständen im Grabungstagebuch sprechen für den Gelageraum mit dem Hephaistion-Mosaik. Sie kam danach in die Berliner Antikensammlung (Inventarnr. AvP VII 43), wo sie bis 2010 in der Dauerausstellung im Pergamonmuseum zu sehen war. 2011/12 war die Statue aus weißem, transparenten Marmor in der Sonderausstellung Pergamon – Panorama der antiken Metropole zu sehen. - Dancer of Pergamon is the modern name for a Hellenistic statue of a woman from Pergamon, which is now kept at the Antikensammlung Berlin. The Dancer was found in March 1886 during the German excavations of Pergamon in one of the two dining rooms of Palace V (the notes on the find location in the speak for the dining room with the Hephaestion mosaic). From there it was accessioned to the Berlin Antikensammlung (inventory number AvP VII 43), where it formed part of the Pergamonmuseum until 2010. In 2011/12 it formed part of the special exhibition "Pergamon: Panorama of the Ancient Metropole." (en)
