- Το Κοκύλιον ήταν αρχαία πόλη της νότιας Τρωάδας, η οποία άκμασε κατά την κλασική και ρωμαϊκή περίοδο. Βρισκόταν στα ανατολικά της Λάρισας και στα βορειοδυτικά του Αδραμυττίου. Η ακριβής θέση της δεν είναι βέβαιη αλλά πιθανολογείται πως βρίσκεται στην τοποθεσία Karaev, στην περιοχή του χωριού Bahçeli της βορειοδυτικής Μικράς Ασίας, στην Τουρκία. Το Κοκύλιον αναφέρεται από τον Ξενοφώντα, στο έργο του , σε ένα επεισόδιο της εκστρατείας του Σπαρτιάτη στρατηγού στη Μικρά Ασία, το 399 π.Χ.. Αργότερα, στις αρχές του 2ου αι. μ.Χ., ο Πλίνιος ανέφερε ότι τη βρήκε έρημη από κατοίκους. (el)

Xenophon mentions it indirectly by pointing out that the inhabitants of Cocylium (Κοκυλίτης), together with those of Ilium and Neandria, declared themselves independent and allied with the Spartan Dercylidas when he went to Aeolia with an army to try to liberate the Greek colonies from Persian rule. Pliny the Elder notes Cocylium among the cities that, in his time, had disappeared from the Troad. Its site is tentatively located near , Asiatic Turkey. (en)
