- Brenton Loch (Spanish, Bahia de Ruiz Puente) is an inlet-cum-small fjord in the Falkland Islands. It is one of a handful of sea lochs outside Scotland. It is sometimes known as "Brenton Sound". "Loch" is normally pronounced as "lock" in the English rather than Scottish manner, i.e. without a fricative "ch". The far south of the loch is known as "La Boca" or "The Boca". The loch cuts into East Falkland and, together with Choiseul Sound to the east, divides Lafonia from the northern half of the island. It lies to the west of the isthmus on which Darwin and Goose Green are located. At its seaward end, it becomes Grantham Sound. Its name may originate from the fact that many of the inhabitants of Goose Green in the 19th century were Scots. (en)
- La Bahía de Ruiz Puente (en inglés: Brenton Loch) es una ensenada y pequeño fiordo en las islas Malvinas. Es uno de un puñado de los llamados lagos de mar fuera de Escocia. La ensenada corta al oeste la isla Soledad y, junto con el Seno Choiseul, al este, divide por la mitad a la isla. Se encuentra al oeste del istmo en donde se encuentran los asentamientos de Pradera del Ganso y Puerto Darwin. La bahía desemboca en el estrecho de San Carlos y desde aquí se puede divisar el Cerro Alberdi. Además, junto con la Bahía San Carlos, es una de las propuestas terminales de ferry para conectar la isla Soledad con la isla Gran Malvina. (es)

Il s'agit de l'un des rares loch de mer situé en dehors de l'Écosse. « Loch » est prononcé ici « loque » selon la prononciation anglaise et non pas selon la prononciation écossaise, i.e. sans le « ch » constrictif. L'extrémité sud du loch est connue sous le nom de « La Boca » ou « The Boca ». Le loch s'enfonce à l'intérieur de la Malouine orientale et, avec le détroit de Choiseul à l'est, il sépare Lafonia (au sud) de la partie nord de l'île.
