- Analamazaotra Forest Station is a community-managed protected area adjacent to Analamazaotra Reserve and Andasibe-Mantadia National Park in the Alaotra-Mangoro region of east-central Madagascar. It consists of 710 hectares of rain forest and restored habitat. It is managed through a contract between the local community-run organization Mitsinjo and the Ministère des Eaux et Forets. Much of the forest station is being reforested with native vegetation through a habitat restoration project. Part of the David Attenborough-hosted 2011 BBC Madagascar documentary was filmed at Analamazaotra Forest Station, including a scene where lowland streaked tenrecs cross a small stream. (en)
- Analamazaotra Forest Station (Parc Mitsinjo) ist ein Schutzgebiet in Madagaskar, welches angeschlossen an das und den durch eine lokale Gemeinschaft verwaltet wird. Es liegt in der Region Alaotra-Mangoro im östlich-zentralen Teil der Insel. Das Schutzgebiet besteht aus 710 ha Regenwald und renaturierten Habitaten. Es wird auf Basis eines Vertrages zwischen der lokalen, von der Ortsgemeinde geführten Organisation Mitsinjo und dem Ministerium für Gewässer und Wälder verwaltet. Ein großer Teil der Forest Station besteht aus wieder aufgeforstetem Wald, der durch ein Habitat Restoration Project regeneriert wurde.
