- Η Αμερικανική Γεωργική Σχολή είναι ανεξάρτητο, μη κερδοσκοπικό εκπαιδευτικό ίδρυμα με έδρα την Θεσσαλονίκη. Η σχολή ιδρύθηκε το 1904 από τον Αμερικανό ιεραπόστολο Τζον Χένρι Χάους για να εξυπηρετήσει τον αγροτικό πληθυσμό στην Ελλάδα και τα Βαλκάνια. Τα κύρια τμήματα της σχολής είναι το Λύκειο, το Κολέγιο Περρωτή, το Πρόγραμμα για τα δημοτικά, το τμήμα Διδασκαλίας ενηλίκων και έρευνας και το πρόγραμμα "Ελληνικό καλοκαίρι". Η αποστολή της σχολής είναι "να εκπαιδεύσει τους άνδρες και τις γυναίκες, ιδίως εκείνους που προέρχονται από την Ελλάδα και τα Βαλκάνια, να αποκτήσουν επαγγελματική κατάρτιση στις τελευταίες εξελίξεις της γεωργίας και των επιστημών της ζωής." The school was founded in 1904 by American missionary John Henry House to serve the rural population of Greece and the Balkans. The current major educational divisions include the Secondary School, Perrotis College (Κολλέγιο Περρωτής), the Primary School Program, the department of Adult Education & Research and the Greek Summer program. The school's mission is "to educate men and women, especially those from Greece and the Balkans, to become professionally accomplished in the latest aspects of agriculture and the life sciences."
