- Die Allianz für die Republik (spanisch Alianza por la República – APRE) ist eine Liberal-Konservative politische Partei der rechten Mitte in Nicaragua, die 2004 von Dissidenten der Partido Liberal Constitucionalista (PLC) und der Partido Conservador de Nicaragua (PC) gegründet wurde. Einer von ihnen war Enrique Bolaños Geyer, der zu jener Zeit Präsident von Nicaragua war (10. Januar 2002 bis 10. Januar 2007). APRE gewann bei den Kommunalwahlen von 2004 in drei bedeutenden Orten von insgesamt 152. - The Alliance for the Republic (Spanish: Alianza por la República - APRE) is a centre-right liberal-conservative Nicaraguan political party founded in 2004 by dissident liberals from the Constitutional Liberal Party (PLC) and the Conservative Party (PC) including Enrique Bolaños, who was President of Nicaragua at the time (10 January 2002 to 10 January 2007). APRE won 3 major offices (out of 152) in the 2004 municipal elections. For the 2006 Autonomous elections on the Caribbean Coast APRE lost four of its allies; the Conservative Party (PC), the Nicaraguan Democratic Movement (MDN) and the Social Conservative Party (PSC) to the Nicaraguan Liberal Alliance (ALN) and the National Unity Movement (MUN) to the Sandinista Renovation Movement (MRS). APRE didn't pull enough votes to win a seat in the Regional Council and shortly after the elections, the two remaining allies of APRE abandoned the alliance; the Nicaraguan Party of the Christian Path (CCN) went to support the Constitutionalist Liberal Party (PLC) in the upcoming elections and the Party for Citizen Action (PAC) joined the Sandinista Renovation Movement (MRS) alliance. - La Alianza por la República (APRE) es un partido político liberal-conservador nicaragüense fundado en 2004 por liberales disidentes del Partido Liberal Constitucionalista (PLC) y el Partido Conservador (PC), incluido a Enrique Bolaños Geyer, quien se desempeñaba presidente de Nicaragua en aquel momento. El partido fue creado luego de que el partido oficial del gobierno, el PLC, se declarara en oposición al gobierno de Bolaños en febrero de 2003. En sus inicios realizó alianzas electorales con varios partidos políticos, lo que le permitió obtener cierto éxito a nivel municipal. No obstante, a nivel nacional siempre ha sido un partido pequeño. En las elecciones generales de Nicaragua de 2011, la APRE presentó como candidato presidencial a Miguel Ángel García, quien obtuvo un 0,23% de los votos. En dichos comicios, el partido tampoco obtuvo representación parlamentaria. En las elecciones generales de Nicaragua de 2016, la APRE presentó la candidatura presidencial de Carlos Canales, quien obtuvo un 1,40% de los votos.
