- يشجع برنامج المدن التاريخية التابع لـ صندوق الآغا خان للثقافة على حفظ وإعادة استخدام المباني والأماكن العامة في المدن التاريخية في العالم الإسلامي. ويتولى البرنامج مهمة ترميم وإعادة تأهيل الهياكل التاريخية والأماكن العامة. تتجاوز المشاريع الفردية الاستعادة التقنية لتتناول مسائل السياق الاجتماعي والبيئي، والاستدامة المؤسسية والتدريب. في العديد من البلدان شكلت شركات لتنفيذ مشاريع تحت إشراف مقر HCSP في جنيف. - The Historic Cities Programme (HCP) of the Aga Khan Trust for Culture (AKTC) promotes the conservation and re-use of buildings and public spaces in historic cities of the Muslim world. HCP undertakes the restoration and rehabilitation of historic structures and public spaces in ways that can spur social, economic and cultural development. Individual projects go beyond technical restoration to address the questions of the social and environmental context, adaptive reuse, institutional sustainability and training. In several countries, local companies have been formed to implement projects under the supervision of the HCSP headquarters in Geneva. (en)
- Programa para Ciudades Históricas Aga Khan (en inglés:Aga Khan Historic Cities Programme o HCP) es uno de los programas que lleva a cabo la Aga Khan Trust for Culture y su objetivo es promover la conservación y la reutilización de edificios y espacios públicos en las ciudades históricas del mundo musulmán. Emprende sus acciones de tal forma que se pueda estimular el desarrollo social, económico y cultural. Cada proyecto individual busca ir más allá de la restauración técnica, tratando de resolver los problemas en el contexto social y ambiental. En varios países se han establecido agencias Aga Khan locales, para poner en práctica los proyectos bajo la supervisión de la oficina central en Ginebra, Suiza. (es)
