- The 1960–61 season of the Moroccan Throne Cup was the 5th edition of the competition. From this season, after the last 16, the Royal Moroccan Football Federation introduced a system of home and away matches until the final in Casablanca. In case of a draw, the match was replayed at the opponents' ground. KAC Kénitra beat Wydad Athletic Club 1–0 in the final, played at the Stade d'honneur in Casablanca. KAC Kénitra won the competition for the first time in their history. (en)
- La saison 1960-1961 de la Coupe du Trône est la cinquième édition de la compétition. Lors de cette saison, à partir des huitièmes de finale, la fédération royale marocaine de football impose lors des rencontres un système en matchs aller et retour sauf pour la finale joué à Casablanca. En cas de match nul, le match est rejoué sur le terrain de l'autre équipe. Le Kénitra Athlétic Club remporte la coupe au détriment du Wydad Athletic Club sur le score de 1-0 au cours d'une finale jouée dans le Stade d'honneur à Casablanca. Le Kénitra Athlétic Club remporte ainsi cette compétition pour la première fois de son histoire. (fr)
