- كأس العرش المغربي 1956-1957 هو النسخة الأولى من كأس العرش بعد استقلال المغرب. أُقيمت المباراة النهائية في ملعب مارسيل سيردان (مركب محمد الخامس) بالدار البيضاء، وفاز نادي مولودية وجدة بالكأس على حساب الوداد الرياضي بعد تعادلهما (1-1)، حيث كان القانون القديم للفيفا آنذاك يُقرّر أنه في حالة التعادل، فإن أول من يسجل هو الذي يفوز. جرت المباراة النهائية بين المتأهلين عن نصف النهائي، مولودية وجدة والوداد الرياضي، يوم 16 نوفمبر 1957 على ملعب مارسيل سيردان بالدار البيضاء، بحضور 30 ألف متفرج. افتتح مولودية وجدة التسجيل عن طريق فرانسيس بريزات في الدقيقة 42، وأدرك الوداد التعادل في الشوط الثاني من ركلة جزاء للاعب الفرنسي في الدقيقة 60. وقد أدار المباراة الحكم بوبكر لزرق. كانت تشكيلة الفريقين على النحو التالي:
* مولودية وجدة: الصبان، رستوي، بلخير، بوطالب، العربي، الكواشي، مدني، سابي، بلعيد، بريزات، شريف.
* الوداد الرياضي: بنجلالي، مسعود، التباري، لحبيب، القدميري، مصطفى، بلحسن، أزهر، مصطفى، غوميز، ماييت. وفاز مولودية وجدة باللقب على حساب الوداد على الرغم من انتهاء النتيجة بالتعادل (1-1)، حيث قرّرت الجامعة الملكية المغربية لكرة القدم أن الفريق الذي يسجل أولا سيفوز باللقب. وكان العاهل المغربي محمد الخامس والرئيس السابق لنادي الوداد الرياضي محمد بنجلون التويمي حاضرين في المباراة النهائية وقدموا الكأس للبطل مولودية وجدة. - The 1956–57 season of the Moroccan Throne Cup was the first edition of the competition. The teams played one-legged matches. In case of a draw, a penalty shoot-out took place. Mouloudia Club d'Oujda beat Wydad Athletic Club in the final, after a draw (1–1). The Royal Moroccan Football Federation decided that the team who scored first would win the title. The final took place at stade Marcel Cerdan in Casablanca. The final took place between the winners of the two semi-finals, Mouloudia Club d'Oujda and Wydad Athletic Club, on 16 November 1957 at the stade Marcel Cerdan in Casablanca, with 30,000 spectators.MC Oujda opened the scoring through Français Braizat ( 42'). Wydad equalised in the second half through a penalty from the Frenchman 60' (pen). The match was refereed by . The teams were as follows:
* MCO : Assaban, Restoy, Belkheir, Boutaleb, Larabi, Kaouachi, Madani, Sabi, Belaïd, Braizat, Charef.
* WAC : Benjilali, Messaoud, Tibari, Lahbib, Kadmiri, Mustapha 1, Bel Hassan, Azhar, Mustapha 2, Gomez, . Mouloudia Club d'Oujda won the title at the expense of Wydad AC, despite the score finishing as a draw (1–1), as the Royal Moroccan Football Federation had decided that the team to score first would win the title. King Mohammed V of Morocco and the former President of Wydad Athletic Club were present at the final and presented the cup to the winners, MC Oujda. (en)
- La saison 1956-1957 de la Coupe du Maroc est la 52e édition de la compétition et la première après l'indépendance du Maroc. Le Mouloudia Club d'Oujda remporte la coupe au détriment d'el Wydad Athletic Club après un score nul de parité (1-1). L'ancienne loi de la fifa décide en effet que le premier qui marque remporte le titre. La finale se joue dans le stade Marcel Cerdan à Casablanca. (fr)
