In recent months, the Liszt Institute Istanbul has organized a wide range of successful cultural events across Türkiye. In Istanbul, the exhibition The Festetics Family’s Istanbul Album attracted significant public interest, presenting nineteenth-century Istanbul through a remarkable collection of historical photographs. In Trabzon, an exhibition exploring the history of Hungarian–Turkish relations, alongside the programs of Hungarian Day and performances by the Hungarian National Dance Ensemble, drew large audiences. Marking the 350th anniversary of the birth of Prince Francis II Rákóczi, a series of cultural, gastronomic, and community events in Rodosto (Tekirdağ) commemorated his legacy, while the Rákóczi Museum building also underwent a major renovation. Together, these events highlighted the vibrant and multifaceted nature of Hungarian–Turkish cultural relations and demonstrated the Liszt Institute’s key role in preserving and strengthening these ties.
