  • Das zweite Bild ist das anamorph verzerrte Bild, die horizontale Auflösung beträgt nur noch 720 Pixel.
  • Das dritte Bild zeigt die Darstellung mit Letterbox-Balken. Das eigentliche Bild ist 720*405 Pixel.


This image illustrates anamorphic coding and letterboxing of movies.

  • The first image shows the original and as it can be seen on a 16:9 screen. The size is 1024*576 pixels.
  • The second image is the anamorphic distorted image, the horizontal size is only 720 pixels.
  • The third image shows the display with letterbox bars. The actual picture is only 720*405 pixels in size.
