The Cognitive Health and Intelligence Centre (CHIC) is a a new research centre established in 2024 as part of the HSE Institute for Cognitive Neuroscience.
Mission:
To explore the human brain, its cognitive functions, and neurobiological mechanisms, with the goal of enhancing intellectual productivity, cognitive health, and human well-being at all stages of life.

- Neurocognitive bases of intellectual efficiency
- Mechanisms of cognitive reserve
- Behavioural genetics of cognitive functions
- Mechanisms of learning and information acquisition
- Bilingualism and linguistic communication
- Multimodal interactions between cognitive systems (including embodied and grounded approaches to language and semantics)
