It’s their way of figuring out your values and how you stand out from the crowd. So, how do you start building that personal brand? 1. Commit to journaling at least 15 mins each day. Write down your strengths, achievements, and what makes you unique. It’s a small step that’ll help you define your personal brand. 2. Ask yourself questions like: 💡What am I known for? 💡What do I want to be known for? Start there to shape your story. 3. Find resources to guide you. From the Cosmiq Event at AI WEB3FEST I had the incredible opportunity to be a panelist at the Cosmiq event on June 8, held at the FIVE Hotels and Resorts Zurich. The event was a remarkable experience, bringing together some of the leading minds in AI and Web3. Keynote The evening began with a compelling keynote by Annika Kessel, Co-Founder & Board President of Cosmiq Universe AG and Board Member of AI Group Switzerland. Her speech, titled "Who am AI?" set the stage by exploring AI as a global child of collective intelligence, showcasing the avatar Leya Love. Annika's insights provided a profound understanding of how AI is evolving and its potential to unify diverse intelligence. Panel Discussions We had several thought-provoking panels, each delving into different aspects of AI. It was an honor to be part of the Human AI - Transformation & Leadership panel, alongside Heidi Weber Rüegg and Marcel Gasser. Our discussion highlighted the transformative power of AI in leadership and personal growth, emphasizing innovative approaches to AI-driven leadership. Real and sustainable transformation starts from within, knowing yourself and leading yourself. From that solid foundation, leaders can create environments where teams collaborate and co-create effectively, creating more flow, and joy. AI serves as a powerful tool to reduce time spent on process driven tasks, allowing more time and energy to focus on creativity and innovation, essential for shaping the future. Personal Reflections I had numerous enriching conversations and built great connections with fellow speakers and attendees. The collaborative spirit and shared vision for the future of AI were truly inspiring. Participating as both a speaker and panelist allowed me to contribute to these discussions and gain valuable insights into the latest advancements in AI and Web3. #Notes from a #Coaching Session Moving a business to another country is not only a strategic #decision but also a significant step in terms of the entrepreneur's mental health and adaptation. How can the psychological state affect decision-making and the success of your business? ▶️Here are my notes after a session with a novice #entrepreneur: 1. Do not ignore the adaptation process. Give yourself time for psychological acclimatization and take care of yourself. Without a stable mindset, it is impossible to make quality decisions and move forward. 2. Accept the fact that another country means a different mentality, and the #marketing strategy that worked in your home country may not work. Having a backup plan (or two) is the responsibility of every entrepreneur. 3. Personal #growth. A new country offers new opportunities. You can and should create a new environment and grow with it. The main mistake here is to think that you already know everything while being in a new market. 4. Remember the importance of support and #communication in this process to ensure the success of your business abroad. I am not used to sponsoring things on LinkedIn, but I'll make an exception in this case. Our Board Member Pino Mercuri published his last book a few days ago. It regards the concept of authenticity in the corporate world. Pino did a great analysis of its evolution, related to the future of work 🚀 My takeaways: 📍 The future of leadership is strongly linked to "authenticity" with the concept of "Be Yourself". 📍 Servant leadership is becoming even more important (ex. ▶ Are you eager to buy a house but struggling to secure financing from a bank? Or perhaps you're unsure about the timing? Italy offers a solution with its "Rent to Buy" scheme (affitto con riscatto). ▶ This scheme allows you to move into your new home right away and decide later if you want to buy it. Typically, you’ll need to make a down payment of around 10% of the property's price. This initial deposit, along with the rent you pay, will be deducted from the final purchase price if you choose to buy the property at the end of the agreed rental period, usually between 3 to 10 years. ▶ To take advantage of this scheme, you'll need to search for properties specifically listed as Rent to Buy. After making the 10% down payment, you can move in immediately. The purchase price is locked in at the current market value, protecting you from future price increases. During the rental period, you'll pay monthly rent, which may be slightly higher than the market rate. At the end of the period, you can either walk away or purchase the property at the pre-agreed price. If you decide to buy, both your initial deposit and the rent you’ve paid will be credited toward the purchase price. In some cases, you might even negotiate a discount if you buy before the rental period ends. ▶ However, the Rent to Buy market in Italy is somewhat limited, often confined to suburban and rural areas. Properties in highly desirable locations are rarely available under this scheme, as owners typically sell them outright for cash. I used to think that the #coaching #competency, Establishing & Maintaining Agreements, focused on the written and verbal contract with the client. However, as I grew in my coaching practice, I realized it was about establishing the coaching #agenda, confirming what the client wants to achieve, and how I and my coachee will partner to measure success. 📈 Yes, how you will approach the coaching partnership is included, too. However, this competency is more about how you and your client agree to show up or partner on the agenda and the outcome during the session. It is important to note that this competency should show up at least 10 minutes within the coaching session for a session that is approximately 30+ minutes long. #CoachingCompetency #CoachTraining #ProfessionalDevelopment #ReidReady

For #ICF #coaches and #mentor coaches, there is some breaking news about the #credential #exam process... INFORMATION SHARE - New exam options will be available from August 2024. - Although the exam will remain 3 hours long, the updated exam will have 78 scenario-based items (rather than the current 81). - Candidates will be able to have an optional 10 minute break (rather than the current 5 minutes). - Exam instructions will be updated and there will be a free video provided by ICF about the exam format, how to navigate the platform and - finally - some more sample exam #questions to review. - The presentation of the exam will be improved to make it easier for candidates to read and process content. - Translated forms of the exam will be presented first with the option of viewing English language aids (rather than English being presented first). - Candidates will be offered expanded score reports including #feedback on performance which will be so beneficial to those who need to retake the exam. - In addition, after a successful pilot scheme, ICF is now developing a new #ACC only exam. There are currently no specifics about dates and commencement for this ACC exam so watch this space!
