This is a very interesting lecture published by the Journal of Clinical Medicine (JCM) MDPI last week about AI in Healthcare. It shows how it can or should go and why we see the opportunities and chances too, instead of just discussion hurdles or struggles. AI was developed by humans as a tool. It is a challenge to keep things balanced, of course. But if we use it clever and smart, then we have a good assistance to take better care, fasten diagnosis or be more efficient and effective in our healthcare systems. Lots to do, but worth to. Technology is a tool, not a goal. The Journal of Clinical Medicine (JCM) MDPI just published a very interesting article on “AI in Healthcare”. The article covers a lot of topics, but here’s what I found the most interesting: ▪️ “𝗕𝗹𝗮𝗰𝗸 𝗕𝗼𝘅” 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗻𝗴𝗲𝘀: Many AI systems remain "black boxes", offering recommendations without transparency. This is a major barrier to clinical trust. ▪️ 𝗜𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗻𝗴𝗲𝘀: Many solutions perform well in controlled settings, but struggle in real-world adoption. ▪️ “𝗘𝘅𝗽𝗹𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝗔𝗜”: XAI show great promise in making AI recommendations more transparent and clinically meaningful. 𝗜𝘁 𝘀𝗲𝗲𝗺𝘀 𝘄𝗲 𝗵𝘂𝗺𝗮𝗻𝘀 𝗻𝗲𝗲𝗱 𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝗔𝗜 𝘁𝗼 𝗲𝘅𝗽𝗹𝗮𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗼 𝘂𝘀 𝘄𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗼𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝗔𝗜 𝗶𝘀 𝗱𝗼𝗶𝗻𝗴... 𝗖𝗮𝗻 𝘄𝗲 𝗵𝗼𝘄𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝘁𝗿𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗮𝗱𝘃𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝗯𝗲 𝘂𝗻𝗯𝗶𝗮𝘀𝗲𝗱? https://lnkd.in/d-dezi5f Copenhagen Institute for Futures Studies PhaseV Health studies Sciana: The Health Leaders Network Robert Bosch Academy FH Europe Foundation Movement Health Foundation HIMSS Robert Bosch Stiftung Robert Bosch Hospital Pul Alliance for Digital Health and Equity #health #europe

🔬 Groundbreaking Study Reveals Menstrual Blood as a Potential Game-Changer for Monitoring Vitamin Levels A recent study published in the Journal of Clinical Medicine (JCM) MDPI (JCM) by MDPI has uncovered the exciting possibility of using menstrual blood as a non-invasive method for monitoring vitamin levels, offering a revolutionary alternative to traditional health screenings for women. Conducted at the Rostock University Medical Center and led by Berlin-based biotech startup theblood, the study compared vitamin levels in menstrual blood to capillary blood samples from 30 participants, revealing significant correlations. 🩸 💬 “Our findings demonstrate the potential of menstrual blood as a reliable, non-invasive tool for assessing vitamin levels, which could transform the way women monitor their health. This builds upon previous research, further validating menstrual blood as an accessible and innovative resource to enhance women’s health outcomes.” — Dr. Amy Whitbread, Chief Scientific Officer, theblood #FemTech #WomensHealth #HealthTech #InnovationInHealthcare #NonInvasiveTesting #VitaminHealth #BreakthroughResearch #HealthcareInnovation #TechForGood #WomensHealthInnovation #Research #HealthcareRevolution
