🔍 Key figures on innovation promotion The first half of 2025 confirms the high demand for our support services, reflecting a dynamic entrepreneurial ecosystem. More than 370 applications for national innovation projects have been submitted, 161 of which have already been approved. The Innovation cheque offer continues to establish itself as an effective gateway to innovation, with more than 300 projects supported. Start-ups before market entry have also responded positively, with 89 applications for start-up innovation projects.🤝 💡Personalised support also remains a key to success. More than 340 companies have benefited from our mentoring, which is a real lever to quick their innovation projects. In terms of coaching, 200 vouchers were delivered to start-ups to get advices tailored to their specific development aspects. Can new diagnostics improve outcomes in cancer care? 🥼 Despite the increase in new cancer therapies, current tests fail to identify which treatments will work, resulting in unnecessary severe side-effects and treatment costs. 🧬 In the frame of a start-up innovation project, Navignostics AG has developed a test that closely examines individual proteins within cancer cells and their location within the tumor to help doctors choose the most effective treatment and improve outcomes for cancer patients. Switzerland is once again Europe’s most innovative country 🚀 🥇The country has topped the European Innovation Scoreboard from the European Commission for eight consecutive years. Städte mit intelligenter Natur kühlen 🌳 Im Rahmen eines Innovationsprojekts untersucht Bauer Baumschulen AG zusammen mit der Berner Fachhochschule BFH die kühlenden Beschattungseffekte von grossen mobilen Bäumen in Töpfen. ❄️ 🌡️ Im Kern bietet Mobile Green ein intelligentes, sensorgesteuertes System, das die Pflege von Stadtpflanzen automatisiert und optimiert, wodurch die Stadtverwaltung entlastet und die Betriebskosten gesenkt werden. 🔎 Ziel der laufenden Forschungen ist es, die kühlenden Effekte mobiler Stadtbegrünungen zu bestätigen und vorherzusagen. 🔍 Comment améliorer l’entretien de nos routes grâce à la technologie? La startup fribourgeoise ODYTICS, en collaboration avec College of Engineering and Architecture of Fribourg et iCoSys, développe un système de caméras embarquées permettant de cartographier l’état des routes de manière automatisée. Dotée de 5 caméras, cette solution mobile capte 150 images par seconde et fournit des données précises pour optimiser l’entretien du réseau routier. 📸 Cette technologie innovante a déjà été utilisée en 2024 dans un projet pour Federal Roads Office FEDRO sur un tronçon de 335km sur l'A1 et l'A2 près d'Härkingen 🛣️Le projet vise maintenant à améliorer le patrimoine des infrastructures routières grâce à l’exploitation de données visuelles et à l’analyse numérique.
