The Palestine Red Crescent participated in the third vaccination campaign, which will last for five days, aiming to immunize children and strengthen community immunity. This campaign is part of the emergency response to the outbreak of the disease in the Gaza Strip and is carried out in collaboration with the Palestinian Ministry of Health, the @who, and @unicef. The campaign covers all PRCS clinics and medical points across the governorates of the Gaza Strip.

The Guatemalan Red Cross carried out follow-up home visits in multiple communities across Guatemala. A new IFRC report highlights that elderly displaced persons face increasing hardship, with many struggling to access medical care, language support, and essential services. 🚨 79% of people in frontline areas report urgent unmet needs. 💔 Many returnees, facing financial precarity, are settling in high-risk zones. 🏥 18% of displaced elderly struggle to access healthcare.
