🔎 How can mining companies and suppliers, including private security providers, work together to improve #responsiblesourcing?   At this year’s Investing in African Mining Indaba we co-hosted a roundtable with Swiss Business Hub Southern Africa which explored the challenges and opportunities of supply chain due diligence in the mining sector.   We expect our suppliers to share our commitment to ethical, safe and responsible business practices. Key frameworks like the UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights and the Voluntary Principles on Security and Human Rights guide our approach to respecting human rights across our supply chains, while helping us to improve the security of our operations and set clear expectations for our private security providers and other suppliers.   The roundtable was a fantastic collaboration and opportunity to share perspectives on how we can continue to adopt best practices that support #sustainabledevelopment across our industry.   #MI25 #ResponsibleMining #HumanRights #SupplyChain
