Updates of the ATLAS High-Level Trigger in Run 3 / Przygoda, Witold Wojciech (Jagiellonian University (PL)) /ATLAS Collaboration
The main reconstruction and simulation software framework of the ATLAS experiment, Athena, underwent a major change during the LHC Run 3 in the way the configuration step of its applications is performed. The new configuration system, called ComponentAcumulator, emphasises modularity and provides a way for standalone execution of parts of a job, as long as the inputs are available, which allows unit-testing of individual components or groups of components, as well as easier debugging. [...]

Initial design of a proton complex for the Muon Collider / Johannesson, Sofia (ESS, Lund) ; Lombardi, Alessandra (CERN) ; Gorzawski, Arkadiusz (ESS, Lund) ; Kelliher, David (Rutherford Appleton Laboratory) ; Laface, Emanuele (ESS, Lund) ; Vojskovic, Isabella (ESS, Lund) ; Milas, Natalia (ESS, Lund) ; Machida, Shinji (Rutherford Appleton Laboratory) ; Gilardoni, Simone (CERN)
The proton complex is the first piece in the Muon Collider, it comprises a high power acceleration section, a compressor and a target delivery system. For the International Muon Collider Collaboration we are investigating the possibility of having a full energy 5-GeV linac followed by an accumulator and a compressor ring and finally a target delivery system. Simon van der Meer (1925–2011): A Modest Genius of Accelerator Science / Chohan, Vinod C (CERN)
Simon van der Meer was a brilliant scientist and a true giant of accelerator science. His seminal contributions to accelerator science have been essential to this day in our quest for satisfying the demands of modern particle physics. [...]

Design of a Fast Single-turn Extraction for the ESSnuSB Accumulator / Alekou, Androula (CERN & Uppsala University) ; Bartosik, Hannes (CERN) ; Efthymiopoulos, Ilias (CERN)
In the European Spallation Source (ESS) neutrino Super Beam (ESSnuSB), a very intense neutrino beam will be produced in order to measure with a high precision the CP violating angle at the 2nd oscillation maximum. [...]

Impedance and Instability Studies in LEIR with Xenon / Biancacci, Nicolo (CERN) ; Bartosik, Hannes (CERN) ; Gąsior, Marek (CERN) ; Hirlaender, Simon (CERN) ; Latina, A (CERN) ; Levens, Thomas (CERN) ; Migliorati, Mauro (U. Rome La Sapienza (main) ; INFN, Rome) ; Métral, Elias (CERN)
In 2017, the LEIR accelerator has been operated with $Xe^{39+}$ beam for fixed target experiments in the SPS North Area. The different ion species, with respect to the standard $Pb^{34+}$, allowed for additional comparative measurements of tune shift versus intensity at injection energy both in coasting and bunched beams. Radiation Vulnerability in 65 nm CMOS I/O Transistors after Exposure to Grad Dose / Ding, Lili (U. Padua (main)) ; Gerardin, Simone (U. Padua (main)) ; Bagatin, Marta (U. Padua (main)) ; Mattiazzo, Serena (U. Padua (main)) ; Bisello, Dario (INFN, Padua) ; Paccagnella, Alessandro (U. Padua (main))
We studied the TID response of I/O 65 nm MOSFETs, which are strong candidates for LHC upgrade. Enhanced radiation vulnerability in I/O transistors appeared, due to radiation-induced interface states and charge accumulation..
