Great progress for Marvel Biosciences as we push forward in our preclinical studies for Rett syndrome. The latest data from our preclinical study at the iBraiN Insitute shows MB204’s potential for durable post-treatment effects in social behavior—an encouraging result as we plan to begin discussions with the FDA for Orphan Drug and Rare Disease Designation. We continue exploring MB204 across indications like Fragile X syndrome and Alzheimer’s disease, with work that is supported by our many collaborative partnerships. The work isn’t done, but these results move us closer to delivering meaningful solutions for patients. FluidAI Medical is leading a consortium of Canadian medtech companies in launching the Postoperative Patient Management Platform (PPMP) project, building on the success of the Continuous Connected Patient Care (CCPC) initiative. Their goal is to develop advanced predictive analytics to forecast postoperative complications like anastomotic leaks and respiratory depression. DIGITAL CEO Sue Paish emphasized the project's significance, stating, "AI will revolutionise global health care systems by providing greater access and better outcomes for Canadians and for people around the world." The project will initially be deployed at Providence Health Care's St. Paul's Hospital in Vancouver, with plans for expansion across Canada and internationally.
