🚀 Where It All Began: Our Concepción Facility, Its Results, and Its Mission 🌱 Our journey began in Concepción, where we proudly launched our first biochar facility a few years ago—laying the foundation for a more sustainable future. This was where our commitment to Exomad Green started, with three reactors, and today, that commitment continues to grow. With our recently announced expansion, we are increasing from three to seven reactors, significantly scaling our impact. Our three existing reactors already produce 25,000 tons of biochar and 60,000 tons of carbon removed yearly. With this expansion, our production in Concepción will grow even further. As global leaders in the CDR industry and biochar production, we continue to push boundaries, ensuring biochar remains a key solution for both environmental and social impact. From the very beginning, our mission has been clear: ✅ Unlocking the full potential of biochar ✅ Restoring our land and helping the environment ✅ Empowering and supporting local communities Concepción was where it all started, and today, it remains at the heart of our work. We are proud of how far we’ve come and excited for what’s ahead! #ExomadGreen #Biochar #Sustainability #CDR #CarbonRemoval #GreenFuture #CarbonSmart

👨🌾 Bringing Back Farming Security in a Local Community 🌾 In the communal farmlands of San Andrés, Concepción, families have cultivated their land for generations, relying on cassava, papaya, maize, and plantain as their primary crops. Unlike large-scale farming, these lands are shared among the community, with each farmer maximizing their small plots to sustain their families. Over time, they faced a growing challenge: soil degradation. Without access to fertilizers or organic compost—either due to high costs or lack of availability—the land became less productive with each harvest. Every planting season took more from the soil than it could replenish, making crops less abundant and increasingly uncertain. To make matters worse, climate change has disrupted the region’s weather patterns, bringing prolonged dry spells that further threatened their crops. Farming became unpredictable, and the community worried about their future—until they heard about biochar. Curious about its moisture-retaining properties, the community reached out and decided to test it on their fields. The results exceeded all expectations. The soil became richer, held moisture longer, and improved in structure. Their crops grew stronger, healthier, and more resilient, producing a higher yield than they had seen in years. The restoration of the soil was evident. With this newfound confidence in their land and witnessing the success in their traditional crops, they decided to experiment with more crops like rice and sugarcane, crops they had never dared to grow before. With a more stable and productive soil, they could now feed their families with greater certainty and generate income by selling surplus produce. What started as a desperate search for a solution has turned into a story of resilience and transformation. By integrating biochar into their farming practices, the farmers of San Andrés have not only revitalized their land but have also secured a more sustainable future for their community. 🌱✨ #agriculture #biochar #exomadgreen #farming #farm
