Showcase Leadership in Adversity: Provide examples of leadership roles during times of financial distress, restructuring, or significant organizational change. Quantify Achievements: Use numbers and data to demonstrate the impact of the candidate’s actions during crises, such as funds saved, percentage of growth, or recovery time reduced. Tailor the CV to the Role: Adjust the CV to reflect the specific requirements of the interim management position, focusing on relevant competencies and experiences. 36% of the employers see internal equality as the biggest challenge when it comes to #remuneration, says European survey by SD Worx. As a result, employees don’t always receive equal pay for equal work. This challenge is immediately followed by pay transparency (35%). It is astonishing that three out of ten employers are not fully aware of the legal rules around pay transparency, such as the EU Pay Transparency Directive of 10 May 2023. According to Bruce Fecheyr-Lippens, Chief People Director at SD Worx, there are four important pillars for a successful approach to remuneration. Starting with a strategic reward policy is the first one. It was interesting to connect with the Belgian HR community last Wednesday at the 19th edition of the Vlerick HR Day in Ghent, with more than 700 HR professionals in attendance. Demystifying Belgian Payroll episode 9: Meal vouchers 🔍   This time we want to spotlight meal vouchers which is an interesting alternative for a salary increase John would like to offer to his Belgian employees.💰   Running a successful operation in Germany, John is employing two white collar employees in Belgium. Excited about their performances, he began investigating the various aspects of employee benefits to attract his employees. Meal vouchers quickly caught his attention as a popular and appreciated perk among Belgian workers. However, John was not convinced as he is not familiar with meal voucher regulations in Belgium. 🚀   When John reached out to Pro-Pay NV for guidance, we attentively listened to his plans and interest in offering meal vouchers. Sometimes, you come across trainings that don't just enhance your skills but transform your perspective on how you approach your work. The Mediation for HR Professionals course at ADR was exactly that for me. It opened my eyes to the deeper layers of conflict resolution, revealing that there's often more beneath the surface of a problem that needs to be addressed before both parties can reach a truly sustainable solution.
