Ukraine continues to be under an unprovoked, unjustified attack. Three years after Putin launched his failed full-scale invasion of Ukraine, Europe has already provided substantial economic, humanitarian, financial and military assistance. But we must keep up efforts to protect our shared future and resolutely oppose Russia’s crimes and destruction. We will stand with Ukraine every step of the way. europa.eu/!GTNH9C #StandWithUkraine

The EU stands in partnership with Moldova and the Moldovan people. And we want to bring the country closer to our Union as fast as possible. Today, we welcome the political agreement between the European Parliament and the Council of the European Union on the Reform and Growth Facility for Moldova. The agreed €1.9 billion Facility – the largest EU financial support package since Moldova's independence – is a key step in our partnership. Combining increased financial assistance and reforms will accelerate Moldova`s progress on its EU path, foster economic convergence and integrate Moldova into our Single Market. For a shared Europe of freedom, prosperity and stability. More: https://europa.eu/!nxCVfx

Over 59 million tonnes of food waste and 12.6 million tonnes of textile waste are produced yearly in the EU—a waste we simply can’t afford. Following our 2023 proposal, last night the European Parliament and the Council agreed on new actions: 🍎 Reduce food waste by: 🔹10% in processing and manufacturing; 🔹30% per person in retail, food services, and households; 🥕 Encourage donations of safe, unsold food 👖 Charge textile producers for their waste to fund collection, sorting, and recycling 👕 Adapt fees for producers based on textile durability The Parliament and the Council now need to formally adopt the agreement, after which it will become law. Can you think of ways you can make a difference personally? Learn more → https://europa.eu/!34Tt76
