By uniting a diverse network of innovators, forging cross-sector partnerships, and accelerating the trialling and scaling of real-world solutions, SHIFT is transforming the Park into a launchpad for next-generation innovations. “SHIFT is the key that unlocks Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park with regards to R&D and Innovation. 📢As coordinator for the development of the mobility sector solution and lead of the pilot site by Dr Eusebiu Catana, Head of Transport for Logistics at ERTICO - ITS Europe, we are pleased to introduce the newly launched O-CEI Horizon project which mirrors our commitment to advance transport and logistics through digitalisation, innovative Cloud-Edge-IoT solutions, and sustainable mobility systems focusing on cross-sector collaboration. “The CEI project aims to speed up the adoption and scaling of Cloud-Edge-IoT solutions to boost Europe’s competitiveness and strategic autonomy by promoting cross-domain data sharing, energy efficiency, and open standards in the transport and logistics domains,” comments Dr Catana. “ Funded under the European Commission HORIZON-CL4-2024-DATA-01-03 Programme, the O-CEI project aims to accelerate the uptake of Cloud-Edge-IoT (CEI) technology solutions, strengthening Europe’s competitiveness and open strategic autonomy by orchestrating cross-domain data sharing, minimising energy footprint, stimulating multisided marketplaces, and promoting open standards for virtualisation and interoperability.
